About this Event

Construction is in such a unique phase right now: fast pace growth, frustratingly slow lead times, labor shortages, material shortages, supply chain delays, changing legal landscape and an overall unpredictable atmosphere. Our financials are changing, our risk is changing, our contracts are changing. We invite you to come hear from two surety professionals as we discuss how risk inside this changing business environment is being managed.

Michael Moore and Tanner Varin of Travelers Insurance will discuss how sureties are examining contractors during a time of unprecedented market conditions. They will also discuss steps contractors can take to mitigate these new risks and how contractors can maintain their surety credit in response to changing economic conditions.

Featured Speakers

Michael Moore:

  • Michael has been a contract surety underwriter with Travelers for five years and works with contractors of all types and sizes. Michael earned his Bachelors of Science in Mathematics from Oregon State University.
