Paul Kaster
Legal Counsel & Compliance Officer | McClone Agency Inc.

Paul Kaster, in his dual capacity as Legal Counsel and Compliance Officer, offers expert advice to clientele on a broad spectrum of legal matters, insurance claims, and regulatory compliance. His career, spanning over 25 years, has been enriched by his private law practice and extensive business legal experience across diverse industris in the Midwest and Southeastern U.S.

Paul’s comprehensive legal expertise encompasses roles as in-house counsel, covering areas such as insurance, construction, litigation, and compliance. He has proven to be a strategic ally to clients, addressing issues related to operations, risk management, and business strategy, with a track record of success across multiple sectors.

His ability to steer high-level legal strategic planning and operational initiatives for process improvement is evident through his work in Lean management, Mergers & Acquisitions, Operations implementation, Profit & Loss, budgeting, and expansion. At McClone, Paul plays a pivotal role in coaching and empowering both employees and clients, enabling them to realize their maximum potential.

Paul’s academic credentials include a Juris Doctor degree from Hamline (now known as Mitchell Hamline) School of Law, a Master’s in Business Administration from the Carlson School of Business at the University of Minnesota, and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Minnesota.

In addition to his professional commitments, Paul is actively involved in community service. He has served on boards and advisory committees for organizations such as Literacy Green Bay, St. Norbert’s College, and Golden House, Inc.


Eric Lehmann
Construction Practice Lead | Senior Account Executive, Key Accounts McClone Agency, Inc.

After starting his career as a logistics specialist in the U.S. Navy, Eric then turned to insurance. He has been in the insurance industry for more than 14 years, including the past 4 at McClone. As McClone’s construction practice lead, he brings a deep understanding of the unique insurance and compliance needs of our construction clients. In addition to working directly with clients, Eric works with carrier partners and construction association partners on innovative ways to develop coverage enhancements and education programs for construction clients.

Eric provides program analysis, recommendations and service to his clients ensuring that they have a clear understanding of their programs and coverage. He has experience in a range of insurance issues relevant to construction businesses including risk management, subcontractor default insurance, commercial insurance, casualty insurance and more. Eric is a Certified Insurance Counselor, Construction Risk Insurance Specialist, a member of the Associated Builders & Contractors of Wisconsin’s Legislative Committee and sits on the Board of Directors for the Construction Financial Management Association of Northeast Wisconsin. He holds a master’s in legal studies from the Washington University School of Law and a BA in business administration and management from Clarke University.

Eric has been married for 17 years and has two sons, ages 15 and 11, and a 1-year-old Goldendoodle named Maddie. He enjoys spending time with his family outdoors, bow hunting, traveling, golfing, sports cards collecting with his sons, and keeping active through running.
