Join us May 15th from 12-4 PM!

You will need to complete a form from Habitat for Humanity to volunteer that day. 

We will be volunteering in the “New Construction” category. 

Volunteer Description-New Construction

1. We (Habitat for Humanity) build homes year round with construction shifts running Tuesday – Saturday
2. No experience necessary! Construction supervisors will be on site to provide training and offer safety tips
3. All tools and equipment will be provided by Habitat for Humanity of Greater Sioux Falls
4. Tasks can range between foundation work, building walls, painting, and putting in countertops
5. Construction shifts work best for groups of 4-16 people.
6. Must be 16 years old with parental or guardian consent to be on the job site

 Due to the ever changing world of Construction it is hard to plan tasks more than two weeks ahead.

Shift times: 12pm -4pm 

          A Safety talk going over the task and any safety gear needed will start at 12pm

What to Bring:

• Work Gloves -if you have them
• Wear clothing you can work in & get dirty.
• Wear layers as weather is ever changing.
• Closed toe shoes are required
  • No Sandals 
• Please bring your own water & snacks.
